I'm working on an idea that sparked from another conversation I had on the forums here. Just to practice my modelling and because I'm huge Ghostbusters fanboy since I was a kid, I'm going to be turning a Space Marine Devastator Squad into the Ghostbusters and I already have a Rhino to paint up as their ECTO-1. My only problem right now is that I have been jobless for about a month sinceI closed my hobby shop, and I am a couple weeks away from a paycheck that has any real money on it. I need some help:
Either:
A.) Would someone be willing to donate a box of Devastators?
B.) Any other Space Marine Bits Donations are helpfull, need some regular arms, helmetless heads, a scout head with the goggles on it, one of the little hand held devices that looks like the PKE Meter... so on and so forth...
C.) Know of any good sites to buy super cheap warhammer boxes? I already frequent BrokenForge.com and they seem to be the cheapest I've found. Anybody know other good ones?
I will be documenting the project and once done and photographed I will be selling on the ebays.
My plans for the set include [but are not yet limited to]:
1 Ecto-1 Custom Rhino
4 Ghostbuster Space Marines w/packs
1 ghost trap unopened [kitbashed]
1 ghost trap opened with ghost being contained [Kitbashed and sculpted]
4 proton streams [to lead from pack to ghost to complete the scene] [sculpted]
*1 Alternate Ghostbuster with in non-deployed stance with PKE Meter* [possibly]
I hope to start this soon, and I'll get pictures up as I can.
