A favourite saying of Caligula "let them hate, so long as they fear"
Borne out of the skills honed to survive on their parent chapter's deathworld home of Cretatia, these close combat specialists utilise jump pack and drop pod assault techniques to take the fight as close to the enemy as possible.
Armed with lightning claws, melta weapons and the blood of Sanguinarius coursing through their veins they fuel their seemingly unstoppable combat abilities with their hatred of Horus Lupercal, and everything that has succeeded him. They believe that the only way to cleanse the galaxy of the traitor legions and their warpscum allies and masters is to take the fight up close and very VERY personal.
Keeping with the Roman theme/style of the Blood Angels. Ancile is a myth surrounding a Sacred shield that fell from the Heavens to protect the city of Rome.
The Blood Angels from what I have heard are rather adept at deepstriking/ moving quickly- giving to their name-sake.
Orbital assault specialists who favour the uses of mass drop pod and Thunderhawk assaults. Well known for their Vanguard squads, the Myrmidons under their captain Achillus. Thought to be one of the few BA successor chapters to not suffer from the curse of the Black Rage.
Symbol is a inverted V over a golden shield.
Despite making this one up, i'm actually now feeling inspired to do thse guys. Another army, here i come.
Made up on the spot but sure its just for fun
The bloodless ones, so called becasue they are able to retain a clear head in battle, very few of this off shoot chapter fall to the rage. In battle The Brothers Exanguine are more reserved than the hot headed blood angels, and are usualy left in charge of stratigic points and trusted to stay thier post.
Among the Roman people, Mullo or Mulli (literally one who is dead) are believed to return from the dead and cause malicious acts as well as drink human blood, most often that of a relative or the person who had caused their death. Other potential victims were those who did not properly observe the burial ceremonies or kept the deceased's possessions instead of properly destroying them.
Hence my successor chapter would be The Brothers Mullo. Known for their exceptional healing gene. Brothers of this chapter have been scene seconds from death and have risen again with the black rage at full swing with the single intent of hunting down their slayer. The Brothers Mullo have learned to fully embrace the Black Rage and prefer the use of drop pod assault.
Hope I win!
My concept is that they will be a successor chapter created as one of the 20 chapters allegedly maintaining guard over the eye of terror, who have been masquerading as angels to instil fear in their enemies but have been practising this tradition for so long they ahve come to beleive it themselves. Expect Dante and a lot of Sanguinary Guard!
Chapter moto - Hit them fast, hit them hard and die for the glory of mankind.
A successor chapter of the Blood Angels in which many of the new recruits from Baal are drawn for initiation.
I guess it's jsut the name that's the real part of the competition, not the background ^^
Successor Chapter of the Blood Angels, Literally the bringers of blood, known for their careful planning, quick tempered and Brutal tactics, and victory at any cost. Imperial commanders only accept the help of the Harbingers in the most dire of circumstance. Imperial records, describe one such occasion of Harbinger brutality, in the subjugation of a revolting hive world, a decade long siege had ground to a stalemate. Arriving from the warp a Harbinger battle company immediately they took control of the Imperial fleet by executing admirals quoting that they had failed to do the dispense the emperor's wrath. The siege was finally broken, when the harbingers commandeered one of the imperial fleet's Battleships and crashed it directly into the hive slaying millions of loyalist and tratiors. An example to all, "Fear the Wrath of Emperor, for we are his heralds"
The third order, last of the highest Heirarchy, are known as Thrones, responsible for contemplating divine justice.
The Chapter: Crimson Thrones
Known for fanatically seeking out the enemies of Emporer, as divined by their Blood Chaplains.
they take their name for their initiation ritual, based on an early crude Human pact of loyalty.
they must find a Chaos Space Marine, subdue it, take it back to their home planet 'Fuil'. Once all the Initiate's have return with their prize or have been confirmed dead, they swear loyalty to his Brother Marine's and to the Emperor; once they have said this the Initiate's simultaneously kill off all of the Chaos Marines
hence they have made a blood pact with each other and are now a part of the chapter
I think i would call them
Crimson Tide -I-
Blood red with gold trim
The True Blood...
Founding chapter: Blood Angels Founding: 021.M31 Chapter Master: Lord Stark Homeworld: None Fortress-Monastery: None; Fleet-based Main colours: Red with a green right shoulder emblazoned with a howling wolf. Specialty: Holding sites & locations deemed "impossible to defend" successfully against any foe. Estimated strength: Unknown; We are Legion. Battle Cry: "We are the force of The Emperor's will"
After the second founding this chapter began a 300 year crusade into the unknown reaches of space. The Iron Wolves were said to have encountered the Lamentors, but were unable to successfully reunite the chapter with the Blood Angles. Due to their many campaigns where they had no other chapters to call for assistance the Iron Wolves have become masters of holding positions indefinitely through tactics, fire power, chapter pride and sheer bravery.
Motto: Cruentus Libris
This successor chapter of the Blood Angels maintains The Baleful Tome - a meticulously kept list of all those that have succumbed to the Black Rage. While the Baleful Tome does exist as a single book, it is more commonly thought of as the the entire collected knowledge and research concerning the Black Rage, along with countless documents concerning attempts to understand and remove its taint from the geneseed of the Sanguinius line.
...of sanguinus
"Revenge for our fallen blood father in glory, and for our emperor in terra golden throne"
Black And Red, with some silver details.
A chapter / cult of there beloved primarch.. they weep tears of crimson blood for thier lost primarch.
"Blood for the Blood Angels" ;)
Meaning "wrathful incarnate", this chapter is the Fury of the Emperor made Astartes flesh. Not ones to hold back, they renounce careful deployment in favor of a brutal strike from the skies. In ocassion supported or suporting a spearhead of Adeptus Sororitas, in a ceaseless hunt for the impure, they are and define the Descent of Angels.
The standard Space Marine colors are crimson red, with white hands, shoulder pads and back/jump packs. Vehicles and Terminators are black with red markings.
Vengeful Nephilim
My favorite is: Baal's of Fury
Ha ha!
Decendants of the Great Sanguinius
Disciples of Ascension
a recent split in the blood angels, this spin off chapter, numbering a few companies in strength have broken ties with the imperium due to a feather, taken from the wing of Sanguinius, found in the hands of an inquisitor, that was taken by from the hands of the Undying, a herald of tzeentch. When learning the story of the confrontation from the inquisitor, they took the feather, and left, leaving a ruined dying body in its place. Now following the path laid out by their three captains, they fight for what they believe is right, occasionally fighting next to chaos, and sometimes across from it. All the while searching for the Undying hoping to find answers about what happened that fateful day on Horus's battle barge, who truely fought for the galaxy, and what happened to their primarch, for if a feather was taken from him, what else might have.
Vampires suck.
Good story to base a chapter on, but honestly, Brotherhood of the feather sounds a little weak. What about "Order of the Pinion".
When they are encountered on the battlefield they have the look of an army of the spectres of death approaching the enemy.
Their sign is the lacrimosa cruenta - a teardrop out of blood
or
Angel's shadow
Cado Angelus-Fallen Angels
fallen angels refers to the fact that the BA and their successors are cursed by the Black Rage. Also, they have a history of succumbing at the most inopportune of times, and ruining campaigns.
Lol, shhhh! He's sleeping on it!
They have a tragic history of arriving after the battle has been fought, and all chances for valor and honour have passed.
LOL!
That's actually the name of my Blood Angels successor chapter, they are all painted and the mini Dragon done on the shoulder pad.
Emperor's Blood
you did not have the chance to absolve some latin lessons?
Even in English no one would say "Blood imperator"
