When did they start advertising for it? Ground Assault is pretty light on for numbers too, but they only advertised it on WargamerAU on April 1st, and in the wrong section of the forums.

Little Scrap - 1st May: 5 x 1600pt games in one day. Could be a hoot but atm the numbers are pretty disappointing. Slardy was expecting 70+ but less than 20 have registered.

Yeah, Ground Assaults looking like a bit of a tragedy, unfortunately. Once again BIG weekend attempts to organize a 40k tournament the month before kickoff. Most gamers need at least a month to get an army ready. We used to see tournament notification occurring about 3-5 months in advance...
I distinctly suspect that the WFB junkies from IF are being their usual elitist selves and trying to turn it into a an exclusive Fantasy Battle occasion. :
